Cockpit Work

Previous to these two photos, I completed the glassing of the cockpit. This before a skim coat and fillets before sanding.CockpitPrep (2) CockpitPrep CockpitPrime1st CockpitPrime1st2The Sanding down of the epoxy/ glass bubbles fillets was harder that I remembered; took a long time with sore chest and shoulders! But the results are better than any of my other boats.

Another couple of coats between sandings and it will be done for now. Then I will probably have to stop any real work till we are moved up to North Carolina retirement home. That search will happen after we get back from 5 weeks in Spain where I lived for 16 years; have not been back for 30 years! Our daughter lives there now in Andujar and we still have family on Ibiza. Really looking forward to the visit!

Un Abrazo,
