Six Days till Departure!

Things are happening fast; maybe not fast enough, but I think so…

Got the rudder attached-I think all is well.

Meanwhile, Max got final varnish on yard and boom, 2nd red on mast, and first varnish on sleep plates.

Though Michalak did not show one for Mikesboat, I got good use out of a cockpit drain in my WOOBO, so added this one to Mikesboat. It is not at lowest point, but I can dump the rainwater by lifting the trailer tongue..

Also drilled wet well drains while I was at it. Some detail of rudder and Mizzen partner visible.

At last minute decided to finish up drilling mast retaining plate. Two photos shown…

Finally, sometimes one just can’t resist…..!

Bill: It looks like you are going to make it! That big cockpit really looks inviting – I hope I get a chance to sail with you at some point during the week. Don’t you love it when a plan comes together?
