SundayMay 25th

Cut, prefitted, drilled Drain combings.

Simple drains!

Finished Hatches!

Flipped back over in PM

Leeboard Mounts bolted and done!

First coat of varnish on wales-got second one on at 10:30 PM. While first coat hardened, I installed the new hitch on the Cadillac. This one was a super dolor en el culo; took me 2.5 hours and still not done. No access holes in frame where needed. Etc,etc!

No official work for me tomorrow. I will carry on with the boat…

It all looks great, Bill, and I’m a fan of the design. Interesting oar ports. When the leeboard is up it won’t interfere with the rowing?

Thanks for the comment Grant, I really appreciate it!

Yes, there is some interference-can’t have everything… The leeboard will have to hang down at a shallow angle and will ad some small drag, but I think it worth avoiding the 10 foot+ oars needed otherwise.
